Ealing Transition Renewable Energy Group
Following our very successful Renewable Energy Conference in October, when
over 60 people came to hear about the benefits and practicalities of installing
solar panels, we have been researching the possibility of creating a local
buyers group through which we could get a significant discount on the costs of
installations through acting together. There are other similar schemes set up by
Transition Towns, notably TT Marlow, which are proving very successful.

We are also exploring the possibility of creating a local co-operative which could
enable investment in renewable energy schemes by those who don.t have the
opportunity to undertake an installation on their own property.
At present we are collecting names of those who are interested and gathering
ideas and information.
If you are interested in either of these proposals, do make contact and add your
name to our group. We will share ideas and suggestions as they develop.
